Marvin Meerkat

I've been wanting to paint this guy from the moment I saw him. Meerkats inhabit the Kalahari desert at the southern tip of Africa, and travel in 'gangs' or 'mobs'.
Gosh, Lauren, this little guy is truly wonderful. The way you put the focus on his eyes is perfect. You must be very pleased with the way it turned out.
He looks like a photograph!
